JSA is consistently the first one I read the week it comes out.
Elite I havent picked up once.
I quit picking up Catwoman when it seemed she was back to villain of the week.
I still pick up BoP, despite the latest (lamest) overarcing storyline.
I'll probably pick up Catwoman and Elite in tpb on the half-price rack.
The only others I've started picking up now are the Countdown to Armageddon on Infinite Worlds at War. (otherwise known as DC's 2005 lame-ass crossover of the year). And the 7 Soldiers stuff, which I should drop now and save money by buying the tpb.
I need to pick up the latest Authority trade. I'm all caught up on Promethea and Tom Strong. Best news yet: a new Top 10 book in the works. And of course, the Return of Donna Troy with Jimenez, Garcia-Lopez, and Perez. That should seriously kick some ass. -

sticking with catwoman even though its had some up and downs
i couldnt get into the 7 soldiers past the 1st issue, following it into the other titles was kind of numbing.
i didnt care for how the count down to armageddon started off.
so i havent followed it yet.
I actually have started reading the New Avengers as well. Mostly because I am happy the real Spiderwoman is back in action.
Looking forward to the Donna Troy/Jimenez/Garcia/Perez

JSA is great and consistant. Well written. I am adjusting to the new Birds of Prey team. I miss Chuck Dixon. But the art has been enjoyable. I am glad they brought Huntress into the team, I wasnt sure about that at first. But this Brainiac thing with Oracle is , well I am not sure about that.
I didnt know that they are brining Donna Troy back! Will it be the same woman, or another incarcation? Are they doing it in a separate title or with in the Wonder Woman series?
I've not read the Armaggeddon series yet. I am hesitant. How is it shaping up so far?
giga what is the Tom Strong series like? When I have seen it on the rack I always look at it with a smirk. But I have been intrigue more then once to pick it up. -

Mon, May 9, 2005 - 3:53 PMGlad Dixon is gone, to an extent. The current art is good, but they need to bring back Phil Noto for the covers. I miss them, and am hoping he'll someday make it to MidOhioCon. The Brainiac thing... ick.
To tell the truth, I'm not following the Return of Donna Troy news as much as I should be, considering I'm a huge fan of the Titans. After Byrne fucked with her, and the subsequent cleanup, it will be nice to see her brought back. Again. I have a feeling that's going to tie into things with the Infinity Crisis, too. I believe it's in its own miniseries, but tying things back together between Outsiders and Titans.
(Countdown to) Infinite Crisis = "Countdown to Infinite Armageddon on Our Worlds at War". If you've followed DC's crossovers, you can bet it's going to be lame. But, you can always hope it'll be fantastic. So far, I've enjoyed the Day of Vengeance #1 and Villains United #1. And OMAC #1. But, I may stop now and wait for the tpb, considering how much this damn thing is going to cost me to do it issue by issue.
My bf reads Tom Strong, and admittedly I havent picked up more than a couple issues (including a Promethea crossover), but I liked it. I think, mainly, because I didnt know the characters already.
